The Museum is closed
- Every Monday (If Monday is a national holiday or substitute holiday, the musuem will be open and the following weekday will be closed instead.)

Every day during Golden Week (April 28 to May 5). - The library may change its opening hours or close temporarily in case of typhoons or other natural disasters.

- One caregiver per one person with a disability is free of charge.
Notes
- You must present a disability certificate or proof of age in order to be elligible for discount admission fees.
- Even if you are visiting the museum as an individual, you may be eligible for the group rate if you present various membership cards (JAF, Co-op Kobe, etc.). For details, please ask the staff at the time of ticket purchase.
- Payment can be made by cash, credit card (VISA, Mastercard, UnionPay), electronic money (iD, Kotsukei, WAON, PiTaPa), QR code (Rakuten Pay, PayPay, auPAY, MelPay, d-pay, Japan Post Pay, Alipay, WeChatPay), or by coupons issued by the travel agency. Please note that cash only may be accepted in the event of payment system malfunctions.
- Free admission on the 17th of every month; if the 17th is a holiday, admission will be free on the following day (18th).
Pay parking (for private cars)
Discounted rates for visitors
250 yen for up to 1 hour, 400 yen for up to 2 hours, 550 yen for up to 3 hours.
200 yen per 30 minutes thereafter.
General fee
400 yen for 1 hour, 200 yen per 30 minutes thereafter
Notes
- To receive the visitor discount, please present your parking ticket and visitor ticket at the General Information (Ticket Counter) on the 1st floor of the West Wing.
- Visitors without a ticket (visitors using only the free zone, including offices, tenants, restaurants, museum store, reference room, and lobby) will not receive a discount.
- Parking fees can only be paid in cash.
